Designed to promote deep relaxation of both body and mind, restorative yoga offers a gentle and grounding experience. With the intentional use of props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets, each posture is fully supported—inviting a profound sense of stillness and ease.
We will move slowly through heart-opening and grounding postures, not to stretch or strive, but to soften and settle. With the props doing all the work, there is space to deepen the breath and reconnect with the mind. The powerful effects of slowing down allow the body to enter “rest and digest” mode and can improve the quality of sleep when practicing in the evening.
This practice is accessible to all experience levels. Come as you are, and leave feeling rested and renewed.
